History of Literature 101-5 Credit Recommendations
This course requires basic knowledge of the classic texts of the Jewish people.
Students are expected to identify key figures and main events from the 24 books of Tanach, and know basic facts about the works of the Oral Torah (based on study questions in the study guide). Additionally, students should display knowledge of important works of Jewish law and philosophy right up to recent history, identifying their main topics, authors, and the time period in which they were written (based on study questions).
