Students are expected to display knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, including word roots and morphology (i.e., markings for tenses, prefixes, suffixes, conjugations based on gender, and forms for singular/plural).
Students are expected to use nekudos (vowel markings). This exam is appropriate for a student who can accurately translate a typical verse from Chumash.

This exam tests knowledge of basic Biblical Hebrew. Students are expected to display knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, including common word roots and morphology (i.e., markings for tenses, prefixes, suffixes, conjugations based on gender, and forms for singular/plural). This exam is appropriate for a student who can accurately translate a basic verse from Chumash.
