This course requires general knowledge of the content of the sefer, with an emphasis on important people, places, and events.
Students are also expected to be familiar with extracts from the commentaries of selected mefarshim, as translated and explained by the Artscroll Rubin Nach (based on a list provided in the study material). In addition, students are expected to explore classic themes within each sefer (as outlined in the study guide) in preparation for the essay.
